Location: Washington, DC
The Burns Brothers newly designed HQ was designed with a “bring home to the office” approach. Centrally located in Chinatown, Washington, D.C., The historic Oriental Building Association building was built in 1910 and has been historically preserved for commercial use. With this project, our challenge was to design an office that would seamlessly adapt from client meetings to live audience interviews. The space was designed to leverage these connections through presentation, entertainment and collaboration.
The exposed concrete beams, exposed brick, and terracotta ceilings enhanced the historical richness that our team was adamant on keeping.
We designed, coordinated the construction, and procured every furniture piece and finish material for this project from the concept phase to the completion of this project.
