Building 1 offers 180 affordable housing units that are preserved or created by the National Housing Trust. The transit-oriented development was made through the sale of the Metro’s vacant land adjacent to Congress Heights Metro Station. The redesign shows a modern aesthetic with abundant green space. The units are embellished with thoughtful finishes, balconies, and large windows that connect residents to stunning views of the surrounding neighborhood.
Residential amenities comrpise a community room, a fitness center, co-working spaces, a new community rooftop terrace and a large private courtyard for residents to enjoy.
