To date, our work represents $0.8 billion in development and collaboration value across projects in progress and completed. We have contributed to 1.6 million square feet of built and planned space spanning commercial, multifamily, hospitality, cultural, and mixed-use typologies.
Our portfolio includes 74 active and completed commercial projects across the United States, ranging from ground-up developments to adaptive reuse and phased repositioning efforts. JIMMIE DRUMMOND

PRINCIPAL

Jimmie Drummond is studio founder, architect, educator and lighting artist. His pluralistic role within the discipline of architecture demonstrates a desire to delve into detail and traverse the many dimensions of this creative practice. He is compelled by socially-driven causes that enact positive change at all scales.

Jimmie’s portfolio of work includes multi-housing development, commercial hospitality, mixed-use development, and office workspaces. With a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Interior Design from Howard University and a Dual-Masters Degree in Architecture + Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, Jimmie is the first African-American to graduate with both Masters degrees.

Prior to helming his own practice, Jimmie spent time in New York City as an architect at SHoP Architects and Bernheimer Architecture in New York City; and as a lighting designer for FLUX Studio.

He has taught at Howard, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) on the subjects of architecture, real-estate development, structural technology, and construction management. Jimmie had also been a guest lecturer at Parsons and the University of Maryland.

Jimmie Drummond, III

As founder of Drummond Projects, Jimmie Drummond is reshaping Washington, D.C. 's landscape through award-winning architecture and design. The first African American to earn dual master’s degrees in Architecture and Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, he founded his interdisciplinary studio in 2020 to create spaces where communities feel seen and sovereign.

Alicia Dolabaille

Alicia Dolabaille is a Project Director at Drummond Projects with over twelve years of experience leading complex architectural projects from concept to construction. She specializes in BIM technologies, digital fabrication, and virtual construction, taking a collaborative approach that connects teams, clients, and communities. Skilled in model-based coordination and integrating architectural, structural, and MEP systems, Alicia ensures that projects are delivered efficiently, thoughtfully, and with meticulous attention to detail. Her portfolio spans affordable housing, multifamily residential, mixed-use developments, architectural installations, and interior architecture, with a focus on creating functional, inclusive, and user-responsive spaces. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Digital + Media from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University, and is an NCARB-certified architect licensed in Washington, DC.

Brittany Marrow

Brittany Marrow is the Operations Director at Drummond Projects, where she drives operational strategy and ensures projects and the office run efficiently from concept to completion. With over nine years in New York City’s design-build industry, she specializes in streamlining workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and translating creative goals into actionable processes.
Brittany oversees project infrastructure, resource management, and process development, supporting teams to deliver work with clarity, consistency, and high standards. Her multidisciplinary background in fabrication, store design, and event production informs a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Christopher Sledge

Christopher Sledge is the Creative Director at Drummond Projects, where he operates at the intersection of thoughtful design and strategic action. He is dedicated to translating high-level design intent into tangible environments, driven by the conviction that creative success is defined by clarity, precision, and enduring relationships rather than visual results alone.
In his role, Christopher steers design direction and project management for key architectural initiatives.He bridges the gap between abstract concepts and execution, integrating strategic planning with technical coordination to ensure every project honors craft, context, and cultural narrative. By merging business acumen with creative leadership, he creates actionable roadmaps that deliver elevated service and refined problem-solving. Christopher attended Howard University where he studied Business Administration.

Ed Corr

Ed Corr is a Project Director at Drummond Projects with over 40 years of experience in architecture and design. He specializes in guiding projects from concept through construction, with a focus on commercial, hospitality, and media/studio spaces. His expertise includes project / team coordination, planning and programming, design development, and technical detailing, ensuring that each project meets the client’s goals and design intent. He is skilled in leading collaborative teams, communicating with Clients, Project Managers, and design professionals to leverage the team’s talents and tools to streamline workflows. He supports all phases of the design process with management and design skills with clients and consultants throughout. Ed holds a Master of Architecture from Va Tech and is a licensed architect in the District of Columbia.

Justin Graham

Justin Graham is a Project Director at Drummond Projects with over 12 years of experience in architecture and design. Justin specializes in guiding projects from concept through construction, with a focus on residential, commercial, and civic spaces. Justin’s projects have involved K-12 education, university-level work, healthcare design, hospitality design and affordable housing. He is drawn to projects that challenge conventional thinking and explore new possibilities for how spaces can be used and experienced. Community advocacy and support are key to Justin’s work. His expertise includes project coordination, design development, and technical detailing, ensuring that each project meets both aesthetic and functional goals. Justin is skilled in leading collaborative teams, integrating sustainable design strategies, and leveraging advanced design software to streamline workflows. Justin holds a Master of Architecture degree from Morgan State University.

Johnathan Campbell

As Technical Director, Jonathan oversees technical quality review and management and the development of maintenance of firm-wide technical standards.
Jonathan is a Registered Architect in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia with over 15 years of practice in commercial, government, higher education, institutional and healthcare design.

Johnathan has served as Technical Director on Hillsdale B3 and B4, Barry Farm 1A, Congress Heights, and Barry Farms Rental Flats.

Johnathan will serve as Technical Director for this project.

Ruth Wondimu

Ruth Hailu Wondimu is an Architectural Designer at Drummond Projects with over three years of architecture and design experience. She specializes in the design, documentation, and coordination of projects ranging from small-scale hospitality spaces to large-scale, 250-unit multifamily developments. Her expertise encompasses both architecture and interior scopes, ensuring each project meets functional and aesthetic goals. Ruth supports multiple project phases, from initial concept through construction documentation, while remaining dedicated to creating thoughtful, impactful design of service to the public. She holds a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Architectural Studies and Geography from Mount Holyoke College. Ruth is a LEED Green Associate, an AIA Associate, and an active member of NOMA while currently pursuing professional licensure.

Matthew Jenkins

Matthew Jenkins is a Project Designer at Drummond Projects with over several years of experience in architectural lighting design and interior architecture. He specializes in supporting projects from early concept through construction, with a focus on integrating thoughtful, performance-driven lighting solutions across healthcare, commercial, and institutional projects.
His expertise includes lighting design, project management, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring that design intent is carried through all phases while meeting technical, functional, and regulatory requirements. Matthew is skilled in collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants on architecture- and interior-focused projects. He typically supports schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phases, maintaining strong communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture from The George Washington University and was a recipient of the Stephen Joel Trachtenberg Scholarship.

Yufei Ma

Yufei Ma is an Project Designer at Drummond Projects with over two years of experience in
the field. She specializes in guiding cultural, commercial, and residential projects from initial
concept through design development.Her expertise encompasses exterior facade design, project coordination, and zoning studies,
ensuring each project achieves both aesthetic and functional excellence. Yufei is skilled at
designing spaces that reflect their local context, leading collaborative teams, and utilizing
advanced design software to optimize workflows.She primarily supports the conceptual, schematic, and design development phases while
maintaining clear communication with clients and consultants. Yufei holds a Master of
Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Engineering in
Urban Planning and Design from the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

Marcus Byers is an Project Designer at Drummond Projects with over eight years of professional experience in architecture and design. He began his career specializing in workplace environments and has since expanded his expertise to include residential, hospitality, and multifamily projects.
Marcus supports projects through all phases of design, from schematic design through construction administration, with a strong focus on clear documentation and technical accuracy. His core strengths include construction documentation and architectural renderings, utilizing Revit and Enscape to communicate design intent effectively. He collaborates closely with project teams, consultants, and clients to deliver thoughtful, well-coordinated design solutions. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University, earned through a CIDA-accredited program, and brings a detail-oriented, adaptable approach to a wide range of project types.

Jamie Solomon is an Project Designer at Drummond Projects with over two years of professional experience in architecture and design. She supports projects across residential, commercial, cultural, and educational sectors, contributing throughout all phases from concept development through construction documentation. Her work includes project coordination, design development, and technical documentation, helping ensure design intent is carried consistently through each stage of the project.
Jamie brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to her work, with a strong interest in how culture and history inform the built environment. Her design perspective is shaped by both academic research and professional practice, with a focus on creating spaces that respond to user needs while strengthening community connections. Anton brings a wealth of accounting and financial leadership experience to Drummond Projects. As a Certified Public Accountant, Anton is dedicated to driving business growth through strategic planning, precise financial management, and data-driven decisions. Throughout his career, he has held top-level executive positions; including serving as the CEO & Founder of Taxceed and the EVP, Chief Accounting Officer at Cedar Hill Strategies. Today, he leverages his extensive financial expertise to oversee the financial health of Drummond Projects, ensuring our operations remain seamless and positioned for long-term strategic growth.

Freddy Mbari

Freddy Mbari is a Strategic Growth Advisor at Drummond Projects, supporting the firm’s market expansion and business development initiatives, with a focus on New York City and other strategic U.S. markets. He brings over a decade of experience spanning capital markets, entrepreneurship, and advisory roles, with expertise in growth strategy, partnership development, and client engagement. Freddy works closely with firm leadership to identify new opportunities and support the growth of Drummond Projects’ New York City market, positioning the firm within complex, mixed-use, and mission-driven real estate environments. He typically supports early-stage pursuits, strategic positioning, and client introductions across the concept and pre-development phases.
